Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on iOS in Nigeria Q4 2022

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 food and drink apps on iOS in Nigeria exhibited varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at their trends.

Jumia Food - Food delivery maintained a steady download rate with fluctuations between 2.0K and 2.9K downloads per week. Notably, downloads peaked at 2.9K in the week of October 31. In terms of active users, the app showed a consistent performance, starting at around 22.2K in late September and ending the quarter with approximately 23.1K active users.

Bolt Food also had a steady download rate, typically ranging from 1.0K to 1.5K downloads per week. The highest number of downloads was recorded in the week of November 28, reaching 1.5K. Active user numbers for Bolt Food saw a gradual increase over the quarter, starting at 7.2K in late September and rising to approximately 8.5K by the end of December.

Jazzy's Burger experienced a significant spike in downloads. Beginning with minimal downloads in the first few weeks, it saw a sharp increase to 3.1K in the week of November 28 and further to 6.8K in the first week of December. However, this was followed by a decline, ending the quarter with about 1.2K downloads in the final week of December.

Domino's Pizza Nigeria showed a stable download pattern with a slight upward trend. Weekly downloads ranged from 672 to 1.3K, with a notable peak of 1.3K in the last week of December.

FoodCourt: Food Delivery+ saw a similar trend of increasing downloads, starting at 369 in late September and reaching a peak of 1.2K in the week of December 5. The number of downloads remained close to the 1.0K mark for most of December.
